Principal's Message
As I begin my third year as principal of Borland Manor Elementary School, I remain grateful for the opportunity to serve this wonderful school community. Over the past two years, I have come to appreciate what makes Borland Manor such a special place. While our building has a proud history, its greatest strength has always been the people who walk through its doors each day—our students, dedicated staff and supportive families.
This year will be a memorable one as we begin our final year at Borland Manor before transitioning to Wylandville Elementary School. While we are excited for what lies ahead, our focus remains on the present. We are committed to making this a meaningful year for our students by honoring the traditions of Borland Manor, creating lasting memories, and ensuring a smooth transition for our teachers, families, and, most importantly, our students.
Although this year brings an important milestone, our mission remains unchanged. We are committed to providing a learning environment where every child feels safe, valued, and connected. When students know they belong, they are more willing to take academic risks, persevere through challenges, build meaningful relationships, and discover what they are capable of achieving.
Our staff is dedicated to creating engaging learning experiences that challenge and support every learner. We believe all students can grow, and we are committed to helping each child reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
Through our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework and the daily interactions that take place throughout the building, we strive to create a school culture where kindness, responsibility, and respect are evident in everything we do.
We also recognize that a strong partnership between home and school is essential to student success. Your encouragement, involvement, and support make a meaningful difference in your child's educational experience, and we are grateful for the trust you place in us each day.
As we celebrate Borland Manor's final year, we have a unique opportunity to honor the legacy of our school while embracing the opportunities ahead. I look forward to another outstanding year of learning, growth, and celebration with our students, staff and families.
Together, we will make this a year that reflects the very best of the Borland Manor community and prepares us for an exciting future at Wylandville Elementary School.
